Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused driver to transport goods locally and regionally using a box truck. In this role, you will help ensure timely deliveries, professional customer interactions, and careful handling of freight while following all applicable traffic and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck to pick up and deliver goods to designated locations
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Load, unload, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
• Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and instructions from dispatch or management
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers, vendors, and team members
• Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
• Assist with warehouse or dock activities as needed

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record
• Previous experience driving a box truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred
• Ability to safely lift, move, and secure packages or freight as required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe driving practices
• Good communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and follow directions accurately
• Dependable, punctual, and customer service oriented

Preferred Experience

• Experience with local delivery routes and urban driving environments
• Familiarity with vehicle inspections, basic maintenance checks, and delivery documentation
• Experience working in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or distribution
